The results of my surgery are better than I had expected and I really felt that the Clinic achieved the best outcome for me. It was fantastic to receive such personalised care at all stages of the process.

When no one else, over many years and at multiple regional eye centres was willing to try, Mr Connor Ramsden at Exeter Eye was willing to undertake complex surgery on  an eye I severely damaged 63 years ago as a child. He fully explained why he could do the surgery, what he was going to do and what the risks were. Then did it.
From the first phone contact with his secretary, the initial testing by his nurse and the team during surgery, everyone is very professional with a calm assurance that gave me full confidence in trusting them with my eyesight.

From the initial assessment to find out if I was suitable for Refractive Lens Exchange through to the surgeries, everything was dealt with in a speedy and professional manner. Mr Quinn is an excellent surgeon and very personable as well. He gave me all the relevant information and answered all the queries I had really clearly. His secretary Jo was really helpful and informative at various points too, for example if there was something I'd forgotten to ask, and the rest of the nursing and reception staff were all excellent as well. I had my eyes done two weeks apart and used a contact lens in one eye in between. The surgery itself is very straightforward. You can have sedation, but I decided not to and didn't regret that. Having been short sighted since I was a teenager, being able to see clearly has been life changing for me, so I would heartily recommend Mr Quinn and Exeter Eye.

I have struggled with high myopia since the age of 11yr and have never had distance vision as perfect as I have now. Initially very nervous and with misgivings about the whole procedure I was quickly reassured by my surgeon Tony Quinn who explained in detail what this entailed and ensured I fully understood  what would happen.
The local anaesthetic was painless as was the operation itself with minimal post operative discomfort which was short lived.
Having been acutely short sighted for some 70 years the experience of complete clarity of vision without contact lenses is both a revelation and constant delight. I have yet to get over the novelty of being able to read the bedside clock without fumbling for my glasses.
I cannot rate highly enough my surgeon and all the staff with whom I came into contact, all highly professional and charming. I wholeheartedly recommend this organisation.

Mr Quinn was exceptional - I can not recommend him highly enough.  I have struggled with high myopia and switching between glasses and contact lenses for a number of years. The initial assessment by a very kind and personable Mr Peter Simcock was very comprehensive with everything explained in as much detail as I wanted after a thorough eye examination. I received excellent advice on which type of lens would be best for me. I felt very well looked after by a large team of people before during and after the surgery. In the evening after the operation, I had a concern about my eye so sent a text message to Mr Simcock and I was very impressed by a quick reassuring reply answering my concern. I also had a follow up call the next day which was fantastic. Absolutely Brilliant service by Mr Peter Simcock and his team at Exeter Eye.

The whole process has been exemplary. Swift, painless and with very little post operative discomfort. After wearing glasses for over twenty years, my vision is absolutely amazing.
