Our Mission

Exeter Eye is committed to providing a comprehensive consultant-led ophthalmic surgical service to treat all eye conditions whilst delivering high quality, compassionate and effective care to our patients. 

Aims & Objectives

  • We will strive to meet patient needs and ensure privacy and dignity is respected at all times
  • We will use the most advanced, proven, up-to-date techniques and continuously work towards ensuring a safe practice is provided for our patients, and a safe working environment for our staff 
  • We will regularly monitor patient satisfaction survey results to develop and enhance patient experience
  • We will ensure our Surgeons are fully qualified experts in their field with General Medical Council specialist registration and theatre nursing staff are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council who will perform all tasks in line with professional and ethical codes of conduct
  • We will ensure all other staff providing clinical and support services are suitably qualified and have the necessary experience
  • We will discuss with all patients their treatments and costs issued at or after the first consultation
  • We will provide facilities at Exeter Eye locations and satellite sites including reception, waiting area, toilets and treatment area, including access for disabled clients
